Since the last update the paving within the courtyard has been grouted and the paving laid down the west ground floor walkway in conjunction with the drainage channel.
Handrails and balustrading are complete within the lightwells, and the final planter bed balustrading will be installed shortly. Infilling of planting beds with topsoil has commenced and will continue this week.
The cedar boarding delivered last week has now been stained and is being installed on the remaining panels, both internally and externally.
Internally on the ground floor, the paving has progressed along the east walkway.
We are still waiting for the remaining Forest of Dean Stone to be able to complete the upper flights to stair 1 and all of stair 2.
In the bedrooms and kitchenettes, the initial builders clean has commenced. This will be followed by the final coating of the timber floors and bedroom desks.
This week other than the continuation of external works the commissioning of the BMS controls is being completed as well as the solar thermal commissioning.
Electrical testing is approaching completion.
Fire alarms and disabled refuge systems are being finalised, terminated, and commissioned.
