Externally the contractor has continued fixing their external angles and channel sections; under these the cladding under the windows has been completed.
The bricklayers are back on site and are working thorough the internal blockwork and have re-commenced within the main lightwell to bring the stone work over the windows and up to paving / cill level.
The pebbles have been laid under the solar thermal frames works and these are continuing in advance of the delivery of sedum roofing.
The west walkway spiral staircase has been installed.
Internally, works are continuing on all floors, with both 1st fix and 2nd fix works progressing.
The improvement in external temperatures last week has enabled ceramic tiling to progress through the building bedrooms. The main kitchen has been installed.
This week the internal works generally are a continuation of last week. Electrical wiring along the corridors, and terminations in the various electrical panels in the risers and plantroom.
Ensuite bathroom plumbing is continuing to progress well and final boxing in of pipework is also in progress. Ceiling framing and boarding installation is completed to all the bedrooms except the accessible ones.
Ceramic timing is in progress through the ensuites with both wall and floor tiling.
Within lower ground, the limestone tiling is progressing and the feature tiling to the bedroom floors will be advanced this week.
