Last week EDF installed the new electric meter and power is now ‘Live’ within the building.
The heat pumps that are running within the plantroom have been connected to the underfloor heating. This is now running at low temperature and will run to allow the screed to dry out and acclimatise the floors ready for the timber flooring and limestone tiling to be laid.
On the higher roof, the sealing around the roof lights has been completed and the solar thermal frames have been located. Supplies to these will be continued this week.
Internally, works have continued on all floors with both 1st fix and 2nd fix works progressing with mechanical,
electrics and plumbing.
The electrical wiring is complete within the bedrooms and will continue out along the corridors shortly.
Within lower ground, the limestone tiling has continued on the bedroom walls and the plastering has been carried out within the kitchen and plantroom corridor.
This week, further internal works will progress, the cedar cladding to the panels below the windows externally.
