The weekend of the 25th to 27th September was the largest of the Quincentenary events, and was packed full of dinners, lunches, and commemorative activities. In order to accomodate the many alumni who attended, marquees were erected on both Old and New Quads. With 300 diners at each of the dinners on Friday and Saturday night, as well as the lunch on Sunday, the College was at full capacity. The meals were outstanding and the speeches given by alumni at each one added to sense of occasion.
Other events during the weekend included an exhibition illustrating the College's history; an historical pageant written and presented by current students; a presentation in the Sheldonian theatre with a champagne reception afterwards in the Divinity School.
Over 1,000 members of BNC participated in this thoroughly enjoyable event.
