I have completed a DPhil (supported by an AHRC-Kingsgate Scholarship) on the lyric poetry of the Spanish humanist and Hebraist Benito Arias Montano (1525/27-98).

Undergraduate Teaching Areas

Spanish Language (Translation and Grammar); literature of the Spanish Golden Age.

Research Interests

Classical reception, Christian humanism, religious literature, lyric poetry in the Golden Age of Spain.
