Brasenose College, Oxford - Brasenose College Arts Festival 2009

Brasenose College Arts Festival 2009

Brasenose Arts Committee is proud to invite alumni back to Oxford to enjoy a spectacular week of plays, exhibitions, concerts, poetry and live music. Taking place in third week of Trinity ( 10th- 16th of May) with multiple performances and events taking place each day, this Arts Festival has become a well-established tradition and a highlight in the term's cultural calendar.

More events are being held from all spectrums of the arts than ever to celebrate the best of the college in its 500th year. Headlining the week are four fantastic plays: Pinter's The Lover, Stoppard's ‘Dogg's Hamlet' and ‘Cahoot's Macbeth', Jonson's satire ‘Every Man Out of His Humour' and Shakespeare's summertime classic, ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Other highlights among this year's packed programme include Poetry Readings, Art and Photography Exhibitions, a Jazz Evening alongside three Lunchtime Recitals, an Outdoor Film screening, Dance Workshops and for the first time ever a Fashion Show! These all promise to be a fantastic showcase of college talent and a lovely way to while away the long summer evenings.

Day tickets cost just £4 and a ticket which includes entry for the whole week is £10. Pay on the door or to order tickets or for more information, please email celia.berton@bnc.ox.ac.uk
