Academic Background and Previous Positions

Originally from Southern Germany, I studied English and Spanish at LMU Munich. I taught German language, linguistics, translation and Cultural Studies from2014 to 2020 at Santiago de Compostela University, Spain. Since 2020 I have been specialized in teaching German as a Foreign Language with the FSU Jena, Germany. I came to Oxford in 2021.

Research

My research focuses on German Cultural Studies (Landeskunde) and German foreign cultural and educational politics (AKBP). 

Undergraduate Teaching Areas
At the moment I prepare students for Paper I, the Year Abroad and FHS. 

I also give seminars on different literary or cultural topics.
