Congratulations to Professor Sir Vernon Bogdanor CBE FBA FRSA, who received a knighthood in the 2023 New Years Honours for services to Political Science. The Principal wrote immediately to congratulate him.
Professor Bogdanor is an Emeritus Fellow of Brasenose, and is one of Britain's foremost constitutional experts and frequent adviser to governments and parliamentary bodies, as well as being a contributor on TV, radio and in the press. He has written widely on government and politics, including The New British Constitution, Beyond Brexit: Towards a British Constitution, and most recently The Strange Survival of Liberal Britain: Politics and Power Before the First World War.
