Open Days 2026

Open Days give prospective undergraduates the chance to see what life here is really like. You’ll be welcomed by current students, who will show you around the College, answer your questions, and share their own experiences of studying and living at Brasenose.

You’ll also hear from the Senior Tutor about admissions and life at the College, and have the opportunity to meet subject tutors to learn more about studying your chosen course at Oxford.

Lectures

Lectures

Brasenose College hosts a regular programme of lectures during Oxford University term time, featuring speakers from across the arts, humanities, and sciences. Open to members of the College and the wider University, the talks and lectures aim to create a space for thoughtful conversation and the sharing of ideas.

      Alumni Events

The College hosts a varied programme of alumni events throughout the year, including gaudies, alumni lunches, and conversations with distinguished alumni and guests.

The alumni talks programme offer opportunities to reconnect with the College, hear from leading figures across a range of fields, and enjoy thoughtful discussion in a convivial setting.

      Organ recitals

The Thursday Organ Recitals are a series of 30-minute lunchtime concerts held in the College chapel. They centre on the College’s organ, installed in September 2024 by the Belgian firm Orgues de Facto, a 15-stop instrument conceived in the sound-world of the original William Hill organ of the late nineteenth century.
