A lunchtime organ recital given by Simeon Wren, Junior Organ Scholar at Brasenose, performing works by J.S. Bach and other composers.

About the Thursday Organ Recitals

The Thursday Organ Recitals are a series of 30-minute lunchtime concerts held in the College chapel. They centre on the College’s organ, installed in September 2024 by the Belgian firm Orgues de Facto, a 15-stop instrument conceived in the sound-world of the original William Hill organ of the late nineteenth century.

The recitals offer an opportunity to hear the instrument across a range of repertoire in the context for which it was designed.
