SCROLL TO EXPLORE
When I’m not working, I enjoy…
Taking walks around Oxford nature trails and gardens. Exploring the less travelled areas around Oxfordshire and whenever possible, keeping up with F1.
What’s the best part of studying at Brasenose?
The supportive and friendly community within Brasenose from non-academic staff to students. I have made some amazing and life-long friends here at Brasenose that have enriched my academic life here at Oxford.
Favourite spot in college?
The 2nd Floor of the Library, overlooking the Rad Cam.
What’s your favourite aspect of your course?
The opportunities to take part in various programmes, and meeting so many international people from across the globe in various aspects of the department.
What would you tell someone thinking about applying?
Do your research on funding/scholarship, get in touch with the professors early – don’t give up if they don’t reply, respectfully send a follow-up email. For a DPhil programme, it is very important that you choose the research topic you are passionate about!
A quality you think is important for someone looking to study at Oxford?
Being open to meeting new people and stepping outside of your comfort zone every now and then to get the best Oxford can offer.
