I am a second year PhD student under supervision of Konstantin Ardakov, working with modular representations of p-adic groups. Outside of academia I’m also involved in running a few mathematical camps for high school students, including the international camp Maths Beyond Limits. I hold a BA in mathematics from Jagiellonian University (2023) and MASt in mathematics from University of Cambridge (2024)
I am tutoring some of 2nd year courses in pure mathematics: Linear Algebra, Topology and Geometry. As an undergraduate, I was finding these topics as the best to visualise, and hence important in building further intuition in maths.
At the moment I’m interested in representations of the group SL_2(Q_p). Mathematicians have a lot of knowledge on how the building blocks (irreducible representations) should look like in that case, and I try to find out how these building blocks can be connected with each other to build more complicated structures.
