Professor Abigail Green

MA Oxf, PhD Camb

Tutorial Fellow

As an undergraduate I studied at Oxford, and as a graduate student at the universities of Brussels (ULB), Cambridge and Tubingen. I came to Brasenose in 2000 as a German historian but now work mostly in modern Jewish history.

I am a historian of the long 19th century working at the interface between international Jewish history and European political culture, and I lead the project JCH: Jewish Country Houses and their Worlds, which is based at the University of Oxford History Faculty.

I teach 19th and 20th century European and British history.
