I was the Associate Dean (Innovation) in Engineering and the Head of the Department of Data and Systems Engineering (previously Industry and Manufacturing Systems Engineering) at the University of Hong Kong. I also served as the Warden of University Hall from 2011 to 2021.

I am the Head of Cybernetics in the Remote Applications in Challenging Environments Division of the UK Atomic Energy Authority.

I teach Engineering Mathematics.

I am interested in artificial immune systems (AIS) – a bio-inspired AI algorithm for autonomous decision making and intelligent virtual reality systems.
