We understand that you might be worried about the costs associated with studying at university. Oxford offers one of the most generous financial support packages available for UK students; a quarter of UK students currently receive an annual, non-repayable bursary. At Brasenose, we are committed to ensuring that the most passionate students, with the highest academic potential, feel confident applying here, whatever their financial background.

The University website has a comprehensive guide covering the details of course fees, living costs and bursaries and scholarships, which can be found here. This information is applicable to all Oxford University undergraduate students, regardless of college choice.

Financial support specific to Brasenose

The College subsidises the price of accommodation, cost of Hall food, drinks in the bar. Please see the College Life page for further details.

There are a range of additional financial support grants and funds available at Brasenose, which include:

  • Student support and hardship funds, for students who find themselves in unexpected financial difficulties.
  • Academic awards, for those who excel academically.
  • Travel grants, for students who would find it beneficial for their academic and personal development.
  • Arts, music and sports funds, to support students’ extra-curricular activities.

These will be advertised to students once they have begun their course.
