When I’m not working, I enjoy…
Watching sports; cricket and basketball in particular. The Raptors are being slept on this season and Sai Sudharsan has the makings of an all-time great.
What’s the best part of studying at Brasenose?
Stunning libraries. One feels extremely motivated and calm at the same time, resulting in a high level of focus.
Favourite spot in college?
The Smith Reading room
What’s your favourite aspect of your course?
The interdisciplinary nature and industry seminars. The quantum ecosystem is a small but burgeoning one, and the course allows us to gain a wide perspective and varied potential applications. This is an asset for students and early career individuals and gives us the opportunity to add to this field.
What would you tell someone thinking about applying?
Never count yourself out, always make sure to apply. Also getting your application materials vetted by peers or instructors can be eye-opening. They will be able to give you a better perspective of what is coming across in your application, and you can make it more robust with their feedback.
A quality you think is important for someone looking to study at Oxford?
Being open-minded. Lots of great ideas come from unexpected places and can shape your research and journey. Reaching out to individuals from different backgrounds also helps a lot to understand their approaches and ideas which can really augment your time here at Oxford.
