Graduate life at Brasenose

At Brasenose, graduate students are central to College life, with a community of over 150 postgraduates from right across five continents.

While your Department handles the academic side, your College provides the support structure: a place to live, people to talk to, and a community beyond your research. You’ll have the Hulme Common Room as your dedicated graduate space and 24/hr access to the College library.

Brasenose has this incredibly friendly atmosphere, and I love knowing there’s always a safe place right in the heart of Oxford whenever I need it.

I love the HCR. I meet people from all kinds of courses there, and I have had some of the most interesting conversations there. It’s my go-to place to relax, grab food, or make a quick coffee.
