We offer comfortable, characterful accommodation in the same rooms our students use during term time – giving guests a real sense of college life in a beautiful and authentic environment.
Our Bedrooms
We offer 300 rooms for bed and breakfast accommodation across our Radcliffe Square site and the Frewin Hall campus on St Michael’s Street. These are the same comfortable, functional rooms that students use during term time.
During vacation time, all bedrooms come with bed linen, towels, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities, and are looked after by our friendly housekeeping team. We can offer short stay or extended durations. Ensuite rooms or standard rooms with washbasins and shared bathroom facilities are available.
Staying with us
Brasenose College was founded in 1509. It is located at the centre of the historic city of Oxford, minutes away from shops, restaurants, pubs, parks, museums, theatres and the river Thames. The historic buildings are surrounded by peaceful gardens and Quads
Immerse yourself in an authentic Oxford College experience in one of our 300 rooms available for either Bed & Breakfast or a room-only stay. You can choose the iconic Radcliffe Square or alternatively our other centrally located Frewin Hall site, on St Michael’s Street.
Our College rooms, which are occupied in term time by students, are comfortable, yet functional. Both sites allow you to walk through the centuries from Medieval, Tudor, Georgian, Victorian up to a 20-th century Eco Garden building, all filled their own charm over 500 years of history. If you are looking for something unique in the heart of Oxford, then Brasenose is for you.
Bedrooms are equipped with bed linen, towels, toiletries and tea & coffee making facilities. Several of our rooms are en-suite and our standard rooms are fitted with a hand basin and offer shared bathroom facilities – a true student experience!
Due to the age of the buildings, many of the rooms are unsuitable for those with accessibility needs.
Brasenose is a working college, therefore, in order to preserve the appropriate College environment, Hen or Stag Parties are not permitted.
Booking rooms
Please note that our historic buildings have limited accessibility, so please contact us to discuss your specific requirements. As a working college, we’re unable to accommodate hen and stag parties.
