I obtained my PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics in 2016, under the supervision of Gianluca Benigno and Wouter den Haan. I was Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics of Stockholm University, in Sweden, between 2016 and 2020. I joined Brasenose College in September 2020.
In my teaching at the undergraduate level, I instruct courses in Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and International Economics. At the graduate level, my teaching focuses on Macroeconomics, International Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Computational Methods. Across these areas, I strive to provide students with a rigorous foundation and to foster analytical skills that support their academic and professional development.
My research interests are International Macroeconomics, Sovereign Debt and Default, Fiscal Policy, Capital Flows and the Euro Area.
