We usually admit six students each year, with tutors whose teaching and research include urban life, migration and geomorphology.
There is no admissions test for Geography. Further information on entry requirements is available on the central Oxford University website.
The broad set of transferable skills means Geography graduates have a wide range of career opportunities. In recent years graduates have proceeded to employment in environmental policy, climate science, communications and media, charities and NGOs including the United Nations, management consultancy, government and politics, conservation and heritage management, the law, banking, finance, teaching and research.
From molecules and genes to ecosystems and biodiversity, combining theoretical study with practical field experience in the UK and abroad.
Training in theoretical and experimental physics from quantum mechanics to astrophysics, with tutors researching condensed matter and quantum theory.
A flexible curriculum across three disciplines, from ethics and epistemology to development economics and political systems.
