We admit six Engineering Science students each year, with teaching that covers computational modelling, robotics and fluid mechanics.
Applicants will need to take the Physics Admissions Test (PAT). Full details of entry requirements and admissions guidance are available on the central Oxford University website.
Oxford Engineering Science graduates work in many different sectors including banking and investment, consultancy, accountancy, IT and computing, energy and the environment. Most go on to work in the engineering and manufacturing sector, while some decide to continue their studies at Oxford, or elsewhere, by working towards a doctorate.
Study both theory and practical applications in Computer Science or Mathematics and Computer Science from 2026.
Study pure and applied mathematics through a three-year BA or four-year MMath, learning from specialists in algebra, logic and probability.
Training in theoretical and experimental physics from quantum mechanics to astrophysics, with tutors researching condensed matter and quantum theory.
