Living in college

Living in college is part of life at Oxford. First years all live on the main site – you’ll get to know your year group quickly. You’re living, eating, working and socialising in the same historic space.

College accommodation has a mixture of room sizes and types. You indicate your preferred price band before you arrive. We have specially equipped rooms for students with physical disabilities.

Costs

As a guide, rooms cost between £4,011 and £7,450 per year (2025 rates, term-time only) depending on the size and facilities. You indicate your preferred price band before you arrive, so there’s a room for every budget.

Rents are subsidised by conferences held in university vacations and for most UK students are covered by standard government loans. The cost includes all utilities, internet and a weekly clean from our scouts.
