Graduate students are offered college accommodation at St Cross Annexe, Rectory Road or Hollybush Row. Rooms range from standard singles with shared bathrooms to ensuite rooms and one-bedroom flats for couples.
St Cross Annexe
St Cross Annexe is a short distance from college, next to the Law Faculty and close to the Economics Department and Science Area.
You’ll live in clusters of four or five-bed flats, sharing two shower rooms and a kitchen. Your room has a bed with mattress, desk, wardrobe and set of drawers. Standard rooms are around 150-160 square feet, and the kitchens have cookers, microwaves, fridges and freezers. There’s a communal garden, cycle storage and a laundry.
For guidance, 2025-26 fees range from £9,595 (£192/week, Band N) for a standard room to £11,038 (£221/week, Band M) for an ensuite room. These prices are for 50-week tenancies and include weekly cleaning.
Hollybush Row
Hollybush Row is close to the railway station and the Saïd Business School. There are 36 single ensuite rooms, four superior ensuite rooms (larger rooms, suitable for couples), and two self-contained one-bedroom flats suitable for couples.
Your room has a bed with mattress, desk, wardrobe and set of drawers, with access to shared kitchens and communal laundry. Kitchens have cookers, microwaves, fridges and freezers. There are no scouts at Hollybush Row, so you’re responsible for cleaning your own room and communal kitchens.
For guidance, standard ensuite rooms (Band P) are priced at £9,998 (£200/week) for 50-week tenancies, superior ensuite rooms (Band Q) £14,996 (£300/week) and the one-bedroom flats (Band S) £17,492 (£350/week).
Rectory Road
Brasenose students can live at James Mellon Hall, part of the Rectory Road site (primarily an Oriel College accommodation complex). There are 18 ensuite rooms for Brasenose students on the whole of the third floor – 14 standard ensuite rooms and four larger superior rooms.
Your room has a bed with mattress, desk, wardrobe and set of drawers. There are two shared kitchens on the same floor with cookers, microwaves, fridges and freezers, and a large common room on the ground floor. You’ll have access to secure bike storage, laundry facilities and shared gardens. Cleaning is provided for these rooms.
For guidance, the four larger superior rooms are £11,550 (£231/week, Band O) for the 50-week tenancy, and the standard ensuite rooms are £11,038 (£221/week, Band M).
