When I’m not working, I enjoy…
Rowing for BNCBC! I was in W1 for Torpids 2025 and I am now the Welfare Rep for the Boat Club. Early mornings, and having a good time on the river is the best.
What’s the best part of studying at Brasenose?
The community, hands down. Brasenose has this incredibly friendly atmosphere, and I love knowing there’s always a safe space right in the heart of Oxford whenever I need it.
Favourite spot in college?
Definitely the bench on the far side of Old Quad, just opposite the main entrance. It faces the gate, and right behind it you can see the Rad Cam, one of my absolute favourite views in Oxford (in my opinion, unbeatable!).
What’s your favourite aspect of your course?
Its multidisciplinary nature. I’m constantly learning a mix of soft and hard skills that I know will be invaluable not just for my professional journey, but for my personal growth too.
What would you tell someone thinking about applying?
Go for it! It’s totally normal to feel nervous, the application process can seem daunting, but Oxford really does treat everyone with equal opportunity. Trust yourself, trust your skills, and take the leap. You might surprise yourself with how far you can go.
A quality you think is important for someone looking to study at Oxford?
Resilience. Studying here is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be intense. The key is to stay resilient through any challenges or setbacks, keep believing in yourself and moving forward. You’ve got this!
