If you have an enquiry, please get in touch – email is the best way to contact us (archives@bnc.ox.ac.uk). We’re a small, part-time team, so responses can take up to three weeks during busy periods.

Office hours are usually Monday-Thursday, from 10-12 and 1-4.
Many of our collections are available for research by appointment. Please do contact us well in advance of your visit, as it takes time to prepare items for access. The Archives Office is next door to the Library, at the top of the Old Quad Tower. Access is via a steep staircase – please let us know if you require alternative arrangements.
When you arrive for your visit, please report to the Lodge on Radcliffe Square. All researchers will need to complete a registration form and read our Privacy Notice.
We may charge for paper and digital copies of archive material, as well as for the retrieval of College records from off-site storage.
