Brasenose Reginald Welbury Jeffrey Scholarship

 MG 0165Brasenose College in conjunction with  Department for Continuing Education is offering a Reginald Welbury Jeffery Scholarship to meet the course fees for the MSc in English Local History for a suitably qualified candidate. Candidates will have an offer of admission to the University of Oxford for the MSc in English Local History for 2021-22 entry.

The scholarship shall be available to graduate students demonstrating exceptional academic merit and is open to offer holders with Home or Overseas fee status. The scholarship will cover the full course fee at the relevant fee rate. The award is made for the full duration of the period of fee liability for the agreed course, subject to satisfactory academic progress being made. The award will be reduced if the recipient is also in receipt of a bursary or equivalent that covers the course fees.

This award is conditional on the holder becoming a member of Brasenose College. The applications of all eligible candidates will be automatically considered on the basis of the University application form for graduate study, regardless of whether Brasenose is identified as the college of preference. The successful candidate will be offered a place at Brasenose College in order to take up the award, and this will take the place of any earlier college offer.

To be eligible, applicants must submit their applications to the University of Oxford for the MSc in English Local History by 1 April 2021. No separate application is required to be considered for this award.
