Academic Background and Previous Positions

While completing my DPhil in early modern drama, I have worked as an Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes and as a Stipendiary Lecturer at St Hilda’s College.

Undergraduate Teaching Areas

English FHS Paper 1 (Shakespeare); Paper 3 (1550-1660) and Paper 4 (1660-1760); Classics and English Prelims Paper 2; Paper 7 (Dissertation).

Research Interests

My research concentrates on sound effects in early modern drama; hearing and the body; sensory studies; theatre history and performance; Shakespeare; Jonson; the voice.
