Brasenose College, Oxford - Graduate Admissions
Brasenose has outstanding facilities. A full meal service is provided in Hall, there is a snack bar (Gerties) on the main site and shared kitchens in the graduate buildings. The college has music practice rooms, a large student common room with newspapers and television, and a lively college bar.
Brasenose has its own sports ground within a five minute cycle ride, with soccer, rugby and cricket pitches, tennis and squash courts and a well-equipped boathouse on the river nearby. The College provides computer rooms, a wireless internet system and fixed internet connections from all student rooms. There is a laundry with washing machines, dryers and irons and there is a secure area for keeping bicycles.
The graduate common room (the HCR) is located in the old quadrangle. It has kitchen facilities, a TV, and holds subscriptions to all major UK broadsheets, as well as other periodicals and some international newspapers.
All graduates have exclusive use of the Hulme Common Room (HCR) which provides comfortable facilities and also acts as the voice of the graduate body.
