Brasenose College, Oxford - Undergraduate Admissions
Students live, eat and work in their colleges, and take part in college social life. College tutors and other members of staff take primary responsibility for their teaching and welfare.
All the Oxford colleges offer the benefits of a world-class education and choosing a specific college can seem a daunting task.
Brasenose College lies in the very centre of Oxford, on one of the most beautiful squares in the world and within a few minutes' walk of all the principal libraries and laboratories of the University. All first year students are housed in the same quadrangle, ensuring that everyone gets to know each other quickly. Second and later year students are housed either on the main site or in the Frewin Annexe, a five minute walk from the historic College buildings.
Brasenose stands for academic excellence within the context of a strong college community. We accept just over 100 undergraduates a year and have about 160 graduate students at any one time. Our students and tutors come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. The College provides high quality accommodation and meals. Music, culture and sports are all strong and there are countless opportunities to participate in many different activities.
Brasenose looks for students who are passionate about their subjects, keen to participate in College life, and who want to make the most of their time in Oxford.
