Music
This term we have our usual variety of concerts taking place, most (but not all) of which are held on a Friday. This term we have events which range from the Platnauer Concert given by the Skazki Trio on the Sunday of third week (5th May at 9pm), to a short Opera, written and directed by two Brasenose postgraduate students (Saturday 25th May - tbc). All of these events are free entry, and anyone is most welcome. You can view the term card here. Trinity Term is, of course, Brasenose's Arts Week, with several musical events, including a choral workshop held for anyone who wishes to attend, on Saturday 11th May in Chapel from 10am-1pm.
The core of regular communal music-making at Brasenose is the Chapel Choir, which sings a wide range of repertoire weekly in Chapel - all are welcome to Evensong in the College Chapel each Sunday at 6pm, followed by drinks afterwards. If you are interested, have a look at the Chapel Choir Music list for Trinity Term 2013 here. The choir is singing at Winchester Cathedral on the Wednesday of third week.
Do browse around the various music links on the website to find out what is happening in college, and feel free to support all BNC's musical activities. If you wish to put on an event, please contact me directly or any of the college's music representatives here. I look forward to seeing you at some of our events!
All best wishes

Alongside academic study, an important part of life at Brasenose is enjoying the many facilities on offer and meeting new people - some of whom become friends for life.
