HCR Meetings

Meetings

There are three HCR General Meetings per term - in the second, fifth and eighth weeks of each term. These meetings are open to all HCR members and anyone can propose anything for discussion. Regular topics include future social events, matters related to the students union, issues with the College authorities and matters related to the upkeep of the Common Room itself.

The Committee (all the elected officers) meet regularly, mostly once a week, on Sunday evenings, to discuss business between General Meetings and to deal with any suggestions or complaints from members which might need speedy action. The Executive Committee (President, Vice President and Secretary) meet regularly with the Principal of the College to raise matters of importance and several members of the Committee attend the College General Purposes Committee on behalf of the HCR.
