Prince Alexander Obolensky

Princess Alexandra Obolensky, the niece of the late Prince Alexander Obolensky (BNC 1934), will be participating in a telephone interview on Ipswich Community Radio's breakfast show on Monday 9th November 2009 at 08:25am.

She will be talking about her family's move from Russia to England in 1917, as well as her uncle's rugby and RAF career and his tragic death at RAF Martlesham in 1940. The Princess unveiled a statue of the Prince in February 2009 in Cromwell Square, Ipswich.
