Brasenose College, Oxford - BNC Society Mentoring Scheme
The Brasenose Society Mentoring Scheme was first launched in 1999 and re-launched in 2008. Its aim is to provide current BNC students with the opportunity to speak with alumni about their work (current or past), how they became involved in it, and the highs and lows of their choice of career.
The list of alumni willing to share their experience in this way now includes over 100 people, covering a wide span of ages and professions. New volunteers for the scheme are always welcome. The level of commitment required can be as low - or high - as mentors wish. Mentoring may simply consist of an occasional telephone call or e-mail, or extend to personal meetings and visits to College or the workplace.
If you would like to volunteer for the scheme, please contact Jeremy McMullen.
If you are a current student and would like to take advantage of the scheme, please contact the JCR or HCR President.
Your support is vital to ensuring that future generations of bright young people, no matter what their circumstances, can benefit from all that Brasenose and Oxford has to offer.
Alumni are invited to dine at High Table up to three times a year. Click here for more details.
