The Annual Fund
The aim of BNC's Annual Fund is to raise funds to support projects that bring genuine and direct benefit to our students, through regular giving from alumni, Fellows and friends of the College.
Our first appeal, launched in Spring 2007, was well supported and we raised over £230,000 (inclusive of Gift Aid) in 2007-8, as well as receiving many pledges for future years. These gifts have enabled the College to plan a great many things, including the refurbishment of staircases, improving the lighting in the Library, creating several graduate scholarships, and supporting student initiatives in sports, arts, clubs and societies.
Our priority is to raise funds that will enable BNC to continue to provide our students with an environment in which they can flourish. We will be asking our alumni and wider community to support us by making a gift. All gifts, small or large, are welcome because when pooled together they are an important and valuable source of income.
